Electrical Engineering is the field that deals with the study of electronics, electricity, energy, and electromagnetism. It is approved by PSBTE (Punjab State Board of Technical Education), Mohali. SBCMS Institute of Technology is one of the best colleges to provide knowledge in the field of electrical engineering to its students. The term electricity and its applications play a vital role in almost every part of our lives. It is one of the best colleges offering this course in Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Haryana.

The curriculum is designed to offer a three-year regular course with the last semester dedicated to industrial exposure. There is an intake of 120 students every year. The faculty members have vast knowledge of the subject and provide quality education to students. The teachers are well-qualified and experienced in teaching, and they have also published their papers in various journals and conferences. The course includes the study of VLSI, Microwaves, signal processing, and RF.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Pass with 45% (General) & 40% (SC/ST) aggregate marks in 10 + 2 having non-medical field.
  • Preferably studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in +2.

  • Last semester having the industrial exposure
